After testing positive for Covid-19 Samantha Woodford was quarantined for 14 days. While wondering what’s next, we have to stay occupied.

“COVID is tough, but together Pennsylvanians are tougher. United, we can defeat the virus. You matter, and so do your actions. When we make good choices and follow health and safety measures, we see results. Let’s work together to stop the spread.” Said Pa.gov.

We all know by now to wear a mask, stay a 6 foot distance, wash your hands frequently, ect but what happens when it doesn’t work? Well, depending on how severe your symptoms are you will be hospitalized.

But what happens when you’re hospitalized? You’re in a boring isolated room, with a tv and hospital food to keep you company. However there are so many other options to keep me, or you occupied during this quarantine.

One choice being books! I’ve expressed myself through reading before being hospitalized. So of course the book worm is suggesting you to read more, yet there’s a good reason! While placed in stressful, overwhelming situations a vacation is just what you need. What better way than to read someone else’s life.

I have quite the collection that I brought here.

Just some of the many books I have in my collection from home. According to we are teachers.com “Reading reduces stress by 68 percent.” Just what we all could use right now, less stress. (Samantha Woodford )

My personal favorite right now is “the curious incident of the dog in the night-time” by Mark Haddon. It’s a 2003 mystery novel. The title refers to an observation by the fictional detective Sherlock Holmes in Arthur Conan Doyle’s 1892 short story “The Adventure of Silver Blaze”.
