Track season at PAHS is officially underway. The first meet of the season was Tuesday, March 19th against Pine Grove. Both the girls and boys team took their first victory of the season.
“I had a good day overall. I was first in two of my events and second in the other,” said Ryan Galen “I believe we, as a team, will continue to get better and grow as a group.” This shows that Galen would like to improve and feels they can be better as a group throughout the season.
“The first meet went okay, everyone obviously can improve, including myself,” said Kailey Olencik “It takes time to settle into your events and see the work pay off. Keep working hard and get after it.”
Both the girls and boys team hope to continue their winning streak as they continue in their season. Their next meet is against Tamaqua on Tuesday, March 26th. The team as a whole hopes for big improvement this year due to the mild struggles they had last year.
