Coach Jake Wartella advises the team in between quarters about strategic plays and what to do next. There was a lot of pressure that was put onto the team and the coaches. They pushed through the pressure and it didn’t get in the way of their playing. Wartella said, "It was a great team win against our rival. I'm so proud of our kids for showing resilience by fighting through adversity and finding a way to win a huge playoff game!"

The Schuylkill League Championships were held at Blue Mountain this year. “It was satisfying to win the league after training throughout all of high school, it was important to the team as well as my teammates to bring it home,” said senior Mark Ritschel.

The girls swim team stands proud on the podium knowing they made history as the first district runner ups. Overall the girls scored a 242 in the team event. Katie Painter says, “Being able to compete in districts was a great experience. With the new change, came more opportunities to swim and compete and allowed for a really wonderful day packed with many memories.”
