The PAHS Stage band has returned to the art show after over a 5 year long hiatus. They played in the hallway outside the gymnasium, going on for over an hour.
Stage band has been preparing for the show since Mid-November, practicing every Tuesday after school and occasionally during homeroom and 9th period. They played 10 songs, including fan favorites like “In The Stone” and “Megalovania”.
Sophomore Evrett Walters enjoyed performing at the Art Show, but felt like there was more to accomplish. “I’ve been in stage band for two years and it’s pretty good.” Walters said. “It didn’t go as perfectly as we wanted it to. It sounded good, but there are still many things we need to work on as a group before our concert.”
Stage band will have their annual concert on Thursday, May 23rd. It will feature songs that were performed during the art show, and also exclusive jazz band songs.
