New Bakery comes to Minersville

Sughr & Company celebrated its grand opening last month at Kings Village Plaza in Minersville. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was hosted by the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce.
“I heard a few people talking about the new place in Minersville called Sughr and then I saw them advertised on Facebook, so I had to go there,” said junior Abbey Garrity.

Sughr has a variety of baked goods that you can try. “I got the Dirt, Tandycake, and Vanilla cupcakes,” Garrity said. “I’ve never had them before and they were really good.”
Lauren Roehl is the owner of Sughr Cupcakes. She started her business in 2019 baking cupcakes as a fundraiser for The Children’s Heart Foundation in memory of her son Hudson. A portion of sales from every Sughr special cupcake is donated to the foundation for their team.
Sughr & Company consists of Sughr Cupcakes along with vendors including Heavenly Macarons, Country Pleasures, Plain Jane Cheescake LLC, Sweet Barista, Missy’s Cookies, Royal Icing Cookies, Swickerdoodles Cake Pops LLC, Playing with Sugar, and even Sasha’s Canine Bakery.

I was just at Sughr’s today. I first heard about it on Saturday’s Home and Backyard.
Everything looked soo good on the show, I just had to go see for myself. My husband & I were “sold” by just the wonderful & delicious smell when we walked in. If you didn’t have a sweet tooth going there , you certainly will as soon as you walk in ! There are even ” doggie” treats by Sasha available. Packaging & display is also very appealing.
We purchased scones & cupcakes. Pricing is very reasonable. We tried the cupcakes in our car & I went right back in to place an order for uncles 101 birthday party !
Sughr’s is definitely worth the trip !!
