The boys and girls soccer teams season is officially underway. The Lady Tide is looking to win the district championship once again, while the boys team is looking to turn it around after having a rough season last year.
The girls team is led by returning seniors, Grace Evans, Megan Hoak, Kelly Goodman, and Kali Hinkle. There are also several returning starters such as, Abbie Davis, and Lauren Kelly.
The boys team is led by returning seniors such as John Snyder and Logan Hable. Junior Aidan Bierman says, “A few games into the year, I don’t know how to feel about this year. We are a very young team.”
On Saturday, September 16, both Tide soccer teams played games. The Lady Tide record sits at 7-2-1: while the boys are currently 0-8-1. The Lady Tide won their last game by a score of 7-0 against Tamaqu; however the boys team lost their last game 6-0 against North Schuylkill.
