PAHS had their first pep rally for the 2023-2024 school year on Friday, September 8 in the high school auditorium. The pep rally was to get everyone pumped up for the football game against Lehighton.
“This year for pep rallies I wanted everyone to want to come to them and have a good time,” Kylie Morris said. “I want to have a skit that everyone is able to enjoy. I like to hear that everyone enjoys our new ideas and has fun being a part of them.”
Every year our school holds pep rallies on Fridays when the football team has a home game. It’s the school’s way to have something fun for the students and have everyone participate. They are filled with cheers, music and dancing. The spirit stick holders were Andrew Allen for freshman, Mya McGoey for sophomores, Derek Watkins for juniors, Eily Painter for seniors and the staff member was Mr. Messina.
The skit was an obstacle course for the fall sports. The teams were, Boys Cross Country and Boys Soccer, Girls Cross Country and Girls Soccer, Football and Golf, and Volleyball and Girls Tennis. The winners were the Boys Cross Country and Soccer which consisted of Dominic Alvarez, Cullen Clarke, John Snyder and Aidan Bierman.
