As we near the end of the year, seniors are gearing up to go to college, trade, or work. Next Tuesday, May 27, will be the seniors’ last day. Senior year can be a very stressful time for them, and by this time, everything is set in stone. Seniors know where they are going, choosing who their roommate will be, and trying to figure out their classes. The Class of 2025’s graduation date is June 3, 2025, and will be held at the Veterans Memorial Stadium. As we say goodbye to our Class of 2025, here are some memories that they have enjoyed in the past.
“Senior year has honestly been one of the best years of my life. I’ve gotten closer with new people as well as people I’ve known my whole life. It’s bittersweet knowing I’ll never be in high school again, but I’m excited for what the next chapter will bring for me and my fellow classmates,” Senior Elena Holden said.
“If I had to choose one word to describe my senior year it would be “sick.” It’s sad knowing it’s all coming to an end but I’m happy it’s coming to an end knowing I made the absolute most of my time here and I will leave with my memories or what a place this was,” Senior Marty Davis said.
“They always used to say that it would be here before we know it and it’s crazy knowing now that it has. When you’re there you don’t want to believe it will end, but it will, and it will fast. I want to tell every underclassmen to enjoy it while they can and make the most out of every single moment because before you know it you’ll be like me, awaiting the arrival of your last final day of high school,” Senior Connor McGowan said.
“There’s nothing more I wish than to turn back time. It’s been such a wild time and it flew by so fast that it’s truly crazy to believe I’m finally here already. Senior year has been so good and it’s an out of body experience thinking I’ll be leaving it very soon,” Senior Lauren Goodman said.
