This year is special for most students involved in the festival. After last year’s cancellation, people are excited to have it this year. Over 100 students are involved, and there are ten Pottsville students participating.
Something different has happened this year. The concert was supposed to be held at North Schuylkill High School but because of a heat issue, Pottsville will now be hosting it. This is a first for PAHS’ choir director, Teacher, Emma Libby.
“For my senior year, I think it’s going to be so cool to host the County Chorus. It will be so fun showing my friends from other schools the ins and outs around Pottsville High School,” Senior Robert Rulavage said.
The chorus concert will be held on Saturday, January 18th at 2. Schools from all over Schuylkill County will be coming together to sing pieces the guest conductor Angelica Dunsavage picked specifically for the singers.
