Following a rather successful fall sport season, winter sports are officially underway. One of these sports and arguably the most popular sports being basketball. Spectator Ryan Galen says,” Going to basketball games, especially in league games are very exciting. Basketball starting brings excitement to everyone in the student section.”

Following a season where the team made an appearance in the state playoffs, the team has very high hopes. The team has three returning starters including two seniors, Letrel Montone and Derek Watkins and one junior Christian Alvarez. They are also banking on key returning roll players to step up big this year.

Senior Letrel Montone says” Coming into my senior year, my expectations are high not just for myself but also for my team. Following a successful year we are expecting to do the same but also achieve more. Our goal is to win the league and the district.”
