Lady Tide Wraps Up Soccer Season

We really gave it our all this year because a lot of us knew it was our last time playing high school soccer and we wanted to end our careers on a good note and that’s what we did,” said Davis.

Pottsville’s Lady Tide had a devastating loss in the PIAA state tournament but they accomplished many things this season by winning the District XI championship.

Lady Tide’s amazing season comes to an end with a 0-1 loss to Cocalico Eagle’s. Pottsville’s head coach Bob Stock states that the team’s defense was “very strong.”

Seniors on the team said they are proud of their teammates and coaches for  working so hard and that they are proud to be the second team in school history to get a district title. The Lady Tide will have 11 seniors leaving who made a huge impact on the program.

The team has had a great season and has really proved themselves this soccer season.with one of the greatest soccer seasons in lady tide history.
