- What do you want people’s main takeaway to be from your art?
The main takeaway I’d want people to take from my art is that anyone is capable of it and it’s all about creativity, you have to think outside the box.
- What does your creative process look like?
Honestly my creative process is really just drawing rough drafts of the project I’m working on until I get it to be how I want.
- What art classes have you taken since freshman year?
I have taken Intro to Art, Painting 1, Painting 2, Advanced Drawing, Ceramics 1 and Ceramics 2.
- What’s your favorite piece that you’ve done?
My favorite piece that I’ve done was definitely my house for ceramics 1.
- What do you like about art classes or art in general?
The main thing that I like about art classes is that it’s a place where I can do something that I like and not feel stressed out about anything.
- Do you ever have any art blocks and how do you navigate through them?
Yes, I’ve definitely had art blocks. When I know I’m starting to get frustrated with the project I just take a break from it for the day and think about how I can fix it for the next day.
- How does it feel to be Artist of the Month for March?
I was shocked to say the least, but I’m definitely honored that I got it and people get to see the projects I put a lot of time into.
