Many of you have probably hear about Beginner Band. Beginner Band has just begun rehearsals, and you may have classmates attending Beginner Band during homeroom. As you might know, Beginner Band will have a concert along with the Symphonic Band to perform for family, friends, and classmates. The teachers that direct and teach Beginner Band are Mrs. Houtz and Mrs. Kurtz. Mrs. Houtz and Mrs. Kurtz are the teachers you should approach with questions or if you are interested in playing an instrument and potentially joining Beginner Band next year. The concert with Symphonic Band will be on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. in the Pottsville Area High School Auditorium. We hope to see you there to hear all of the hard work that the beginners are putting into practicing and learning their new instruments!
