Lengel Student Council debuts “Pride Mart”

SHOP – The new Pride Mart located in room 206 at DHHL has a variety of items for purchase. Students can purchase items using real money or Crimson Cash.

Here at DHH Lengel Middle School, we have a new school store for the 2019-2020 school year called Pride Mart. The Pride Mart is run by the staff of our Lengel Student Council. Every day, different homerooms are able to visit Pride Mart, which is located in Mrs. Fehr’s classroom – 206. Things for sale include lead pencils, pens, highlighters, erasers, and other school supplies. You can also purchase many different candies at Pride Mart. There are also Crimson Tide headbands, wristbands, and t-shirts available for purchase at the school store. One of the most popular items is decorative stickers. You can buy these items with real money or Crimson Cash. The new school store has been a tremendous success so far, and is a great fundraiser for Student Council. Many of the students benefit from being able to purchase these items at Pride Mart.

If you attended DHHL in previous years, then you probably remember that the school store was a little different. The main difference is that the school store used to be on a rolling cart that went homeroom to homeroom, instead of centrally located in a classroom. The new classroom location allows the school store to hold more inventory.

Don’t forget to stop in room 206 to visit the members of Student Council and check out the new Pride Mart!
