Tide Lines: What inspired you to create this artwork with all bright colors?
Hernandez: To make it stand out.
Tide Lines: What did you materials did you create this artwork with?
Hernandez: Chalk pastels
Tide Lines: How does art make you feel and why?
Hernandez: Relaxed and happy because I get to express myself.
Tide Lines: Do you plan on taking any art classes at the high school? If so, what?
Hernandez: Yes, I plan on taking foundations of art, drawing and ceramics.
Tide Lines: What is your favorite art material to work with?
Hernandez: Clay
Tide Lines: Who inspires your artwork the most and why?
Hernandez: My art teacher, Miss Palina, because she is a very good artist.
Tide Lines: What is some advice you would give to younger students who are passionate about their artwork?
Hernandez: Try your best and be original.
