My name is Jenea Maurer and I am in ninth grade. I tried out for ETC because I am very passionate about writing. When it comes to writing I enjoy an interesting topic and hopefully ETC can offer that to me. I hope to learn how to become a better writer and Pub member. ETC is definitely one of the best choices I have made in freshman year.

Senior Preston Hunter submitted a painting of a Halo character for his Painting III class. “I wanted to do what I like in every art piece, so I wanted to choose that game [Halo] to represent what I like to play. The hardest part was the detail in the mask of the character and making it look realistic. It took me about five hours of work to complete my painting." (All artwork featured in the gallery chosen by the PAHS Art Department.)

Freshman Maggie Stencovage created a bright, floral design for her visual journal. Students in Miss Lindsey Boncore's art classes design and make the journals themselves. "My favorite part was being able to make our own designs instead of an assigned one." Stencovage said "This gave us the opportunity to show our creativity.”

Junior Julia Malek created a classic Chimera- the catfish- for her Chimera project in Computer Art. She enjoyed the assignment. "I think it was really fun, it was great to have an opportunity to create an animal and it was exciting."

Jillian plays the tuba for the band, and enjoys playing for the band due to the positive impact music has had on her life.
