If you’re walking down the second floor towards the office, you’ll probably see Mr. Johnson. Mr. Johnson is a new 7th and 8th grade social studies teacher here at DHHL, and he teaches in room 207. He taught first grade at St. Nicholas School in Minersville before coming to Pottsville Area. He graduated from PAHS also. Mr. Johnson decided to become a teacher when he had trouble with reading. Because of his trouble, he got help from a tutor and then became a tutor himself. After tutoring, he decided he wanted to teach.

Mr. Johnson’s favorite color is red. He has one brother named Alec, who is a student at the high school. Mr. Johnson’s birthday is in August. He coaches swimming for the high school swim team. Besides teaching, Mr. Johnson also really loves spending time with his family and friends. He has a pet lizard, and he said he would love to get a dog.
