The six swimmers pose with their shirts made for States. One of the swimmers, Taleah Ruben, is moving on to Nationals held in North Carolina. “I felt excited to go to the states because I was looking forward to swimming my hardest and having fun. What I hope to accomplish for nationals is to drop time in my events and enjoy the trip to Greensboro, North Carolina which is where nationals are held!” said senior Taleah Ruben.

PAHS swimming and diving state qualifiers traveled to Bucknell to compete at the 2019 PIAA State Championships. Pottsville’s relay teams won fifth and eighth place medals at the meet.
