The Pottsville Girls Volleyball team has performed very well this year. Throughout the season they have yet to lose a game, and have looked good while winning games. While not all of their games have been impressive to say the least. They have played 12 games and in those 12 games they are 12-0, and have gone past 3 sets just once.
The team is led by several contributors including, Lainey Dusel, Eilly Painter, Anna Burke, and Maggie Brennan. They have plenty of seniors, but also underclassmen to set up for a bright future for years to come.
“I feel the team is in a great position and feel good about going forward,” said junior Lainey Dusel “The team looks good and the morale is up. I feel we will win the league and the district.” This quote alone shows that the team as well as many others think they are the favorite to win in the playoffs.
In conclusion, the volleyball team so far has been the best team in Pottsville. The future will tell how truly good the team is. They hope to continue their winning and look to win leagues and districts.
