The PAHS basketball season is seven games into leagues. To this point, they have a record of 9-5. The team thus far has been led by their leading scorer Christian Alvarez. The team is also led by starters Letrel Montone, Derek Watkins, Chase Oswald, and Kole Becker. While their record is 9-5 it doesn’t quite show how good they’ve played to this point. They have won all seven of their league games, and the only games they have lost were out of league games.
Their last game was on Thursday, January 11th. The game took place in North Schuylkill. The game’s score was 49-48 in Pottsville’s favor. After the team’s win, they still remain undefeated in leagues, improving their record 7-0.
“I feel good about the team’s record inside the league and I’m confident that we can finish the year undefeated in our league,” said Letrel Montone “The whole team feels good and we’re confident going forward.”
