The photo above is the paper you will need to fill out if you want to buy a rose. All order forms are due on May 18th. Mrs. Pellish said, “My favorite part of the Roses for Seniors tradition is seeing how excited the seniors are as they leave the Farewell Assembly with their roses in hand.”

Seniors are currently wrapping up their last month of high school. As a goodbye present,

AID will be selling roses for $3.00 to anyone that wants to give one to a senior. Roses for seniors will be delivered to senior homerooms on Thursday, May 26th before the Farewell Assembly. Unclaimed roses can be picked up with diplomas after graduation.

If you are interested in purchasing one, you can find a member of AID or ask Mrs. Pellish in room 203. The deadline to order any roses is Wednesday, May 18th. Cash or checks are acceptable. If paying by check, please make it out to PAHS Alpha Iota Delta.

“AID has been the club I’ve been the most passionate about since freshman year. I got involved because of my older cousin Abbey, who thought I would love it. She was completely correct. Graduation is such a bittersweet time, and AID is something I will miss the most about high school. The bond I have with the girls is amazing. I made some of my best friends through this club. I’m so grateful to have been president of AID during my senior year,” said senior Caroline Gist.

While this is only the second year that AID has organized Roses for Seniors, it is a longstanding tradition at Pottsville. Advisor of AID, Mrs Pellish puts in her own words what Roses for Seniors mean, “ The Roses for Seniors sale is a chance for parents, peers, faculty, etc. to order a rose and share messages of congratulations and pride with graduating seniors.”

“My message for the graduating seniors is that they should be very proud of all that they have worked for, and I can’t wait to see what they do next. Congratulations to the class of 2022,” said, Mrs. Pellish.
