12+Days+of+Festivities+at+Lengel

Lengel’s 12 Days of Festivities began on December 7 and runs through December 22. The first day – December 7 – was to wear festive socks. The second day – December 8 – was “two turtle doves,” or dress like a twin with a friend. December 11 was pajama day and everyone at DHHL had fun wearing their festive holiday pajamas. December 12 was “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” or wear your favorite scarf. Everyone threw it back to the 90s on December 13 for “North Pole in the 90s.” December 14 we had a “snowball fight.” 5th and 6th graders wore white while 7th and 8th graders wore red. December 15 was wear a fun flannel.

The final week kicked off on Monday with “Jolly Jeans.” Everyone wore jeans and fun shirts. Tuesday was “Grinch Day.” There was lots of fun Grinch outfits and green around the school. Today, Wednesday, is ugly sweater day. There are tons of ugly sweaters around the building today. There are two days left before winter break. Tomorrow, Thursday the 21st, is “New Year, New You,” and you should wear gear from the college you hope to attend or the career you hope to have. Finally, Friday is Candy Cane Day, and everyone should wear white and red to celebrate the start of winter break.

Merry Christmas!
