Trunk or Treat! Smell My Feet!

Trunk-or-Treat this year was a blast! This year, there were so many fun trunks, treats, and people. This was the third annual Trunk or Treat, and the biggest ever. There were approximately 550 kids at the Trunk-or-Treat event. During the Trunk-or-Treat event, there was a vote for which trunk was the best, but the votes have yet to come in. Many teachers and administrators were there to help out with many trunks. Many teachers and clubs from Lengel had trunks at the event including Lengel Lingo, Student Council, Schuylkill Achieve, the science department, the special education department, Tide-Tek, and more. Miss Shappell, Mrs. Mohl, and Mrs. Larish work extremely hard to make Trunk or Treat a reality for our students and the students of JSC.

Some of the trunk decorations that were at this event were Disney, Pirates, Toy Story, Pumpkin Patch, Hawaii, Beetlejuice, Christmas, and Candy Land. That is only the start of it too!

“My favorite part of trunk or treat was seeing the kids smiling faces when I gave them candy,” 7th grader, Ava Ciravella said.

Mrs. Maria Malek, high school drama director, said, “Seeing the creativity of the different clubs and providing something fun and safe for kids to attend is my favorite part.”

Over all, this was a very fun event for many people in the community to come and enjoy! We are already looking forward to the fourth annual Trunk or Treat in 2020.
