Teacher Tales: Mrs. Snyder

Mrs. Snyder is an amazing teacher who works at DHH Lengel Middle School in fifth grade. Before teaching fifth grade, she has also taught first, second, and third grades. She is a very funny teacher.

At first, Mrs. Snyder’s dream job was to be a backup dancer for her favorite band, but she realized that dream was not going to happen, so she thought to herself, “What’s just like singing?” She realized she could become a first grade teacher and sing to her students, so she did just that.

Mrs. Snyder has a son in sixth grade; his name is Blake. She also has twin daughters in eleventh grade named Aubrey and Hadley, and a son in twelfth grade named John.

Mrs. Snyder loves pushing her students instead of just being a “softie.” So far, my experience as a student in Mrs. Snyder’s class has been great. Another thing about Mrs. Snyder is that she always wins the canned goods contests when we have them at school. Mrs. Snyder never loses! Our class has gotten two pizza parties so far for winning.

If you ever see Mrs. Snyder in the hallway, especially outside of classroom 205, make sure you say hello!

A wonderful lady that I met at soccer games. Didn’t mind my hollering and even encouraged me to do it. So much fun to be around. Always in a chipper mood, never saw her angry. Learn everything you can from her as she is also a great Mom.
