Teacher Tales: Ms. Boyer

2019-2020 is Ms. Boyer’s first year teaching at DHH Lengel Middle School, where she co-teaches science and teaches special education. Ms. Boyer’s favorite teacher was Mr. McGreen in fourth grade because he was, “really down to earth and cared about his students.”

She graduated from Minersville High School and went to college at Penn State and Alvernia Universities. She began teaching in 2010 as a substitute teacher, and likes teaching seventh and eighth grades the best. You’ll most often see her on the third floor or out at bus duty. Ms. Boyer’s hobbies include spending time with family, shopping, and playing computer games. My final question for Ms. Boyer was, “what is your major goal in life?” She had to think about it for a minute then stated, “to keep my family healthy and happy!”
