It’s a new starting tradition that the Publications staff hosts a “End of the Year Pub Party” for all students to enjoy. The yearbook is a very taxing and time-consuming development, and the celebration of the product is highly anticipated.  Sophomores to seniors have been working hard on our 2024-2025 school yearbook. Even though Pub is a class, these students spent extra hours putting time into the book.

Not only does the Pub party celebrate the yearbook staff, but they also celebrate the Tidelines and the TideTV staff. For as much as the yearbook staff does, the Tidelines and Video staff work hard as well. The staff were celebrating the yearbook alongside the yearbook staff, but they were also celebrating their work that they put into their site, Instagram, and daily student news that’s called TideTV.

“I like having the Pub party because it lets us celebrate our accomplishments with everyone a It’s a great way to say goodbye to what we’ve worked so hard and diligently on,” Senior Elena Holden said.

Overall, members of all staffs had said they had a great time and enjoyed being around their peers to celebrate such a feat. The tradition will continue over the years, and each year they will celebrate the next book for all students to enjoy for many years to come.
