Lengel honors students visit Majestic Theatre
On Friday, May 20th, 5th-8th grade students that made the honor roll went on a trip to the Majestic Theatre. The Majestic Theatre is a fun place to watch movies and plays. Before we left, we went to the cafeteria to get our boxed lunches and to take attendance. We also made signs to carry during our walk down Laurel Boulevard to the theater. Once we got there, we watched the movie Tangled. During the movie, the chaperones that came with us handed out popcorn and water bottles.
After watching the movie, we went to the Schuylkill County Historical Society. We learned about the Civil War, and saw historical artifacts.
Then we went to go eat in the courtyard with all of our classmates. We were also able to go to the candy shop in the theater once we got to the courtyard. After we ate our lunch, we walked back to school.
My friends and I had a very good time and I’m sure the other students did too. Make sure to get good grades and do your work so that you can participate in fun activities such as this!
