Mrs. Allen is a new 5th grade teacher who used to teach 6th grade science. She’s excited to be a 5th grade teacher so she can see all the same students all day. She co-teaches in room 206 with Mrs. Boyer. Before teaching at Pottsville, Mrs. Allen taught in the Schuylkill Haven Area School District.

She loves to see all of her students improve everyday. Sometimes she likes to make her students go into small groups or do partner work. She does it so they can interact more with each other and make the activity more fun.

She’s a good teacher who loves each and every student that walks into her classroom. She has three sons: Tejay, Mike, and Andrew. In her free time her hobbies are reading, sports, and being outside. She also loves Duke basketball and Ohio State football. She graduated from Pottsville Area High School where she was active in athletics including basketball.
