After weeks of handing out candy and hanging up posters. The Homecoming window has finally closed.
With homecoming finished at PAHS let’s take a second to look deeper into the contestants this year.
This was one of the biggest Homecoming Courts we’ve had in years. There were twenty-six people running, thirteen kings and thirteen queens. Cullen Clarke and Lauren Goodman were this year’s Homecoming King and Queen.
“I was really nervous because I had no idea that I was going to win. When the top three was announced I wasn’t sure who had won,” senior Lauren Goodman said.
Last year’s winners Parrish McFarland and Kali Hinkle returned to pass down their crowns. On top of the game and the full homecoming court there was a dance that took place on Saturday, September 28. It was a hit and all three groups of Homecoming Court were honored. Lauren Kelly and Ryan Galen in third, Elena Holden and Tsirell Curry in second and Lauren Goodman and Cullen Clarke in first.
