AID’s bigs and littles pose for a picture, “AID is such a great club, and I am very glad that I am a member. I think dressing up your little sister with different accessories is such a fun idea and I can’t wait until I am a senior to be able to dress up my own little sister.” freshman Ella Huda said.
This week, AID (Alpha Iota Delta) had their annual big and little sister meeting, as well as the usual tea party. During the big and little sister meeting, the senior members dress up their little sisters, which are freshman and any new members. The big sisters will surprise their littles, oftenly in shirts that say who’s little they are, and with colors that represent AID.
The big and little sister tradition is an ongoing tradition at Pottsville, which makes it exciting for the new members, and creates a memorable moment to remember. Seniors in the club look forward to this, ever since they were freshman and experienced the same thing.
In conclusion, this event takes place every year, and is a great way to induct new members into the club, while creating memories and having fun. AID also does other things such as the club tea party, collecting foods for holiday baskets, and secret santas, which all create bonds between members, and serve as special memories.
