Kaylee Becker works above and beyond in every class she takes. Becker is grateful to have her application approved for the Women in Science and Engineering Forum. “I put a lot of time into my application to the STEM Forum dinner, so when I found out that I had been accepted, I felt accomplished. I definitely look forward to being able to hear from other women in the field that I want to work in someday,” sophomore Becker said.

Kaylee Becker recently found out that her application to Women in Science and Engineering Forum has been accepted. This event offers an opportunity to chat with STEM professionals over dinner and meet intelligent women.

“We were impressed with your responses to the application questions and are delighted to have you attend this year’s event,” said the WISE Forum.

“Kaylee Becker, grade 10, has been accepted into the 2020 Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Forum at the Da Vinci Science Center. Kaylee was accepted on the basis of her outstanding academic resume and her essay. It is a prestigious honor,” said school counselor Mrs. Cindy Stasulli.

The WISE Forum will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at The Center at Holiday Inn. It will start off with registration, and then at 5:30 p.m. the Mentoring Dinner will begin; which is only open to the applicants. After dinner, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. is the Public Panel Discussion, open to parents, family, and friends of the applicants.
