Students Learn About Beneficial Summer Camp

On Wednesday March 6, the sophomore and junior classes were presented with an opportunity to expand on their experiences with college. The students learned about a program called ‘PA Free Enterprise.’ The camp takes place at the Lycoming College campus and, for one week, the Pennsylvania College of Technology campus.

The program allows students from all over Pennsylvania to participate in a summer camp with their peers. At the camp, students will split into several groups, create and run their own businesses, and compete against other groups to see which group can run the most successful company.

“I think it looks fun, and I’d be interested in going. I would go with my friends, but I’m too busy with sports,” said sophomore Gabrielle Kotzmoyer.

“I think it is a great opportunity for those who want to further themselves win their business career. I would love to attend, but personally my main focus is on my computer programming career,” said sophomore Daniel Braun.
